Homemade Apple Pie and Grilled Leg of Lamb

In early October, we went apple picking to Wilkins Fir and Fruit Farm in Yorktown Heights. It is about 35 minutes north of where we live. We picked Red Delicious and Macoun apples-delicious!And we always buy their yummy apple cider donuts.

Of course I was motivated to make a homemade apple pie with the apples that we picked. Here is a link to the recipe that I used.

We host Thanksgiving every year and this year, we have decided to also grill a leg of lamb on the barbeque. So we did a "test" lamb and this is how it turned out:
